This project was completely unique in that it was a corner lot that contained both a lowrise multifamily apartment building, and 3 commercial units with street frontage. We had the pleasure of designing this project in house and we were tasked with creating a design that was separate, yet unified. We kept the palate simple and tried to incorporate an earthy feel to go along with the new landscaping.

To set apart the commercial space from the apartments, we put a fresh coat of smooth stucco, contrasted with a deep black band on the overhead soffit, which later became the backdrop for commercial signage. Our favorite part of this project was the custom paver installation, which became it’s own mini amenity.
