Veteran was a legacy building that the owner wanted to bring current to stay relevant in an ever changing prime location. The design goal was to create a natural feel, which shows up in the paint colors throughout, as well as in the lush landscape that can be viewed from the common areas. The true challenge here was to work with the existing bones, and to create a design that was seamless between the interior and exterior spaces.

The green theme played on the buildings existing landscape, which was later modified to better fit the overall design. In the process, we updated the lobby and all of the common areas to feel fresh, modern, and new. The end result was apartments that rented faster, increased rents and property value, and a building that not only stood out as the nicest on the block, but also the catalyst for many other remodels.
